PORTFOLIO

The horizon is often used as a metaphor for hope for the future. In a time of political division, social unrest, and a health crisis, I created these paintings to ground myself and meditate on the horizon. It is inspired by the landscape of New England and the ever-changing color and light of the seasons. By making sketches and studies while out in the landscape and bringing them into my studio for development, I can capture a moment in time and the beauty of nature for future meditation.
